Tips for Healthy and Glowing Skin

1. Cleanse your skin regularly

Cleansing is the first step to get glowing and flawless skin. To begin with, wash your face with a foaming cleanser to get perfectly cleansed and vibrant skin before heading outdoors. Make sure you use a good quality facial cleanser to remove all traces of dirt and pollution which get accumulated on your skin after a long hectic day. You can use rose water for cleansing your face also. All you got to do is to dip a cotton ball in rose water and wipe clean your face with this rosy cotton ball.  So simple! You will get squeaky clean skin and feel an instant jolt of freshness in a jiffy.

2.Treat your skin to refreshing drink of moisture by dabbing on a moisturizer

Post cleansing, moisturize your skin to seep moisture into the inner layer of your skin since moisturizing is an essential step to radiant skin. Go for a good quality moisturizer according to your skin type. Nowadays, the market is choc-a bloc with lots of skin care products specially for men’s rough and tough skin. Just go get a good moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and supple.

3. Make sure not to head outdoors without slathering sunscreen on your face

I know most of you boys do not know the importance of sunscreen on your face. But let me tell you that it is a big mistake! Your skin needs broader-spectrum of sunscreen with SPF 40 before heading outdoors as your skin is more exposed to  the sun and other harmful environmental pollutants.  To top it off, regular application  of sunscreen slows down aging process and make your skin fairer.

4. Give up smoking

Dear boys, give your skin a favor by giving up smoking as smoking depletes oxygen level in your body and damages collagen, resulting in appearance of  tell-tale signs of wrinkles and fine-lines on your skin faster than normal. Not only for your body, smoking is bad for your all round health. So guys do not let smoking suck life and radiance out of your skin and make a resolution to give up smoking right away.

5. Drink a lot of water

Gulp down a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated as water helps flush out toxins from your body, making your skin glowing and youthful. Ensure you drink 10-12 glasses of water every day to keep yourself hydrated and active all the time.

6. Make sure you take 8 hours of sleep 

Do you know that lack of sleep can play havoc with your skin? Yes, it is true!  Sleep deprivation can trigger off break down in collagen, a protein that keeps skin tight and elastic. As a result, it can speed up aging process, making your face wrinkled and dull. in addition, dark circles, which rob your skin’s radiance, are  by-products of sleep-deprivation.  So 8 hours of qualitative sleep is a must to keep your skin healthy.

7.You can use some home remedieson the face if you can

Here I am not suggesting any messy facial masks for you guys. But these are some easy to follow beauty tips for men which you can follow. You can apply raw milk on your face for 5 minutes and rinse off immediately. Post shaving your skin, you can apply almond oil or olive oil on your face for 5 minutes to trap moisture into your skin.

 8. Eat a healthy diet

At the end of the day, it is what you put into your mouth makes a huge difference to your outer looks.  Up your intake of green vegetables, fresh fruits, fresh fruit juice, and dairy products and skimp on fatty food and soft drinks. Swap junk foods for healthier foods.
